Whoo~Today was a pretty busy day... First off, went to Yishun, took bus 39, for some CIP thing, as part of my ONOW project. Went to an old folks home, but because of the H1N1, we could only do cleaning, no interaction with the elderly (although to tell you the truth, i will have a hard time talking to the elderly, well due to my poor command of yea...).
After that we wasted alot of time deciding on where to go to eat and watch movie... Finally decided on The Cathay, there some of us went to eat Aston's, but seeing as the queue was so long, me, Jac, XF, Sky, Ken and Viv decided to go somewhere else to eat... after that we bought the tickets for Ice Age 3, than went to Plaza Sing to kill time before the movie.
Anyway, Ice Age 3 was a pretty funny movie, taking the original concept from the 1st 2 movies and adding a cute element to it (Kinda like Shrek 3). This movie is mainly about Manny and gang entering an underground Dinosaur world (apparently there is a world beneath the frozen wasteland), in search of Sid who was "kidnapped" by Momma Dino (a female T-rex, whom is angry that Sid took her babies from her). Along the way they meet a one-eyed weazel who has lost part of his sanity...and is their guide for the entire journey. However with all this laughter there are some crapped up parts, for one the Herbivores are so much more aggressive than the Carnivores, for example Momma Dino never really did try to injure Sid, however the moment Manny and gang arrives in the Dino World, an Ankylosaurus begins to attack them for no reason... In addition how issit possible for the Dino world to be so bright, despite the ceiling being covered by ice... But since this movie is catered more to the younger children, i shall just let it slip...
